Ok I'm real sad about Avicii. He was always my #1. "My feelings for you have always been real."
Ok I think the biggest news I have now is
1. I'm now in my last transfer
2. I'll be training a new missionary (probably from the US) ((not known yet))
So this last week was v average! Honestly not a whole lot to report on. But we found out transfer on Saturday and Escobar is going to Madryn, and I'm staying here to finish the mission! I'm in a mixture of emotions rn. Because honestly training is kind of a big deal and tbh I was trying to finish the mission tranqui. Like in peace. Obviously working hard but with someone that knows what they're doing. But now I'm going to have to show the ropes to a n00b and probably (if it's gringo) teach most of the lessons and do most of the contacts.
BUT, I'm actually super grateful for the responsibility and I know it's for something. I need to learn something more and also I have a lot to teach my new comp. And no matter what happens in these last few weeks, I'll be finishing the mission strong. It's impossible for me now to slow down my pace. I'll be 100% from this week until my last week. It'll be good! And even if it's just utterly terrible and I'm miserable, I've just got to be patient and it'll be over before I know it!
Also the other great news is that Kaden's going to be my new zone leader!!! And I'll be his district leader! So for the first time Kaden and I will be in close contact!! I'll be calling him like every day and we will see each other every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and probably Saturday and I'm trying to go on divisions with him so that will be fun! So we will finish the mission together!!
As of right now, I left Gallegos last night and this morning I arrived in Comodoro! It was a good time because I got to see some missionaries that I haven't seen in a long time and it's probably the last time I'll see them while on the mission!!! And I got to make new friendships and I had a good convo in English with Elder Rennaker and we discovered that we have the exact same interests and we made a pact to work together in the future hahah
Today I also got to see Elder Mendez so that was fun and some other old friends! I'm hoping to visit Abasolo now and see some more members and friends and investigators.
The new kids are going to arrive tomorrow and I'll probably find out who my comp is on Thursday! And I'll get back on Friday maybe.
This week I was trying to catch up on my reading in the BOM. I'm now in Helaman but I don't know if I'm going to reach my goal of finishing The Book of Mormon before my birthday... but I'll be close.
But overall, I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my life. I hope to continue to learn and become a better person. I want to develop new skills and attributes and help other on their way.
As for now, just be patient. Like it says in D &C, "He aqui, soy el alfa y la omega. Y vengo pronto." I come like a thief in the night hahah
