7/8 done; Dinner miracle (March 5)

Well today  I have 3 months left so that's insane!!

This week was honestly pretty trash! It was bad on a mixture of levels. The p-days honestly make me sick here. We don't do ANYTHING it's so unorganized it's a mess.

And on Tuesday we rode our bikes to a part of our area that's 6 miles away and we got lost so we probably rode our bikes 18 miles that day and I got wrecked. I was so exhausted and it made me sore and tired the WHOLE week.

And my wheels popped like 2 or 3 times this week so we've been having to fix them and walk with the bikes for some large distances. It got me thinking about fixing bikes and I'd still like to work in a bike shop-- it's super sick! I HATE bikes on the mission but I LOVE bikes in general.

This week I cut my hair from an Hermana in Gaucho and she remembered me and so I got to go back to my old area and it was real weird to be back and honestly I realized how much it's actually a super good area to be in. She gave us lunch so it was a super good deal of fun.

So I've decided that fasting on the mission is the worst thing because it's like everything goes against us. An investigator invited us to go out to get ice cream, a less active member went out and bought facturas and made tea for us, and everyone offered us food. I was like "OF ALL DAYS;WHY TODAY?????" It was the worst. Like what am I supposed to do? Say no and be rude, or ruin my fast? I did it but I felt bad for saying noooo.

Yesterday we had lunch with a member and she invited one of her friends that's not member and with her 3 kids and we started talking about the church obviously and then the kids were like "Hey I remember you. You talked to us like a year ago I think." And I was like "What? Where?" and they were like "in front of the cemetery with me and all my friends" and then I totally remembered that and so like a year later God put the kid that I contacted in Gaucho at a dinner with me in San Benito. It was soooo strange. But it was even weirder that he remember me because like he wasn't even an investigator. It was a small contact that I did but with a bunch of kids.

Last night I was watching the videos of the Doctrine and Covenants and WOW are they not just the best thing I've seen?  I learned a ton too. I'd never seen the one called "os es requerido perdonar." I'm not sure what its called in English but I didn't even know that but it's excellent. And the story about Wilford Woodruff in The apostasy.

Anyways, we'll see what happens this week.
