Long time no si (CHRIST más)

Wow so it was good talking to the fam!! Pretty normal actually... feels like I haven't left at all. Except it was hard to speak English a little.

And thanks for writing me everyone..!!!! I got on my email with like 30 letters ! Feels good!! I love and miss everyone! (Except those that didn't write me) aahh ok just kidding. But it was a great christmas present.

But I guess I'll start with explaining what I've been doing the last week or so.

So I didn't leave Comodoro until Friday afternoon so like I have just a week in Comodoro while things were getting prepped. Elder Singh left for Perito Moreno on Tuesday and we were with Elder Spencer from Tuesday to Friday so it was pretty fun. He's a good time. Good kid.

I got here on Friday and I was pretty nervous. It's SO SO SO weird traveling on the mission. Like so weird. EVERYTHING I ONCE KNEW IN COMODORO WAS NOW CHANGING. I had a life back then. And now it's 100% different. But I got here after a 5 hour bus ride and life is good. I saw like 2 and a half movies... one boring french movie about chess with Calvin Kline and then in Spanish, it's called "Si no despierto" a  groundhogs day redo about high school girls so that kinda explains A LOT. It was funny to hear good ol US slang. Defs miss it.  And then part of a movie with Morgan freeman and some old guys. I'm glad I didn't finish it because it was kinda boring.

But anyways now for the real important stuff. So my comp is Elder Mendez from Buenos Aires. (Florencio Varela) and just imagine Joaquin Dominguez but with two years as a member and that's my comp! So it's pretty fun. He's a good kid and in these last 2 days or so he seems like a solid missionary. With 7 months. But it's also a little hard for him because he's the only member in his family and his family wants him to come home.. a lot (they don't really understand obviously).

The area is pretty cool. It's big. So that makes 4 big areas I've had. It used to be two when Kaden was here I think but now it's just one big one. Trelew is cool. It's a lot greener than what I'm used to. It's maybe like 1/3 of the green of Glendora so it's nice to actually see grass and trees. Being in the north is familiar. It shared the same good vibes of Madryn but it's flat here and the houses and area is almost like Gallegos (but prettier) and the houses here are pretty nice. Some nicer than in the US.

On Friday when I got here we immediately went to a service with an investigator (the one we spent Christmas Eve with) and she says she wants to get baptized on the 13th of January. We also have another investigator who has a baptismal date for this Saturday but we are thinking of postponing it for the next week.

Christmas was the best this year on the mission. The elderes from Rawson didn't have anyone to spend it with so they came with us and it was great. we went to Gloria's house and ate and played games with them and her daughter and at midnight we lit steel wool and made homemade fireworks.

That's about all I have time for but I'll keep yall posted. Real soon.

Love and miss everyone.

And FYI (I actually got this question a lot) It's summer here so it's getting pretty hot.

Happy New Year go out and party for me
