Well, as you guessed, I'M LEAVING ABASOLO. And I'm going to... TRELEW!! I'm going to Kaden's birthplace, from what I've heard. So it will be cool to have shared an area. It's called Centenario. Apparently it's full of old people. And it's big. And now that it's summer, it's gonna be hot. And there's no beach in Trelew #sad
But my comp is Elder Mendez from Buenos Aires so I'm stoked for another Argentine comp. Gotta love em. And I already met him. And we are bros. Of course it's wayyy totally different from being amigos from the mish and being a stellar companionship. So we'll see. Overall I'm pretty happy. And I'm district leader again so ya boi is back in business!!!
I'm not sure what the future holds for me but as for now I think my hopes of going to Tierra del Fuego are burned... ( pun yes intended). It would've been cool. But whatever, the Lord needs me in Trelew! I'm happy.
But I leave on Thursday for Trelew so I'll be here until then. Elder Singh is going to Perito Moreno and Los Antiguos, a pueblito hahah.
This week we had the Christmas dinner and it was real fun!! We did a sketch as a district and it turned out really well! I'll try and send a video.
We did service for the tames family and it was hecka windy and actually a super terrible experience. And can you guess what we did?? We picked up trash!! Pretty much allll Argentine service projects, I swear. But this wasn't just normal litter. It was like half buried mattresses, piles of bottles, and dirt and all sorts of junk. It filled a whole trash bin. Luckily we did as a district and it made it super enjoyable.
It's kinda weird that the girls that arrived with me are now on a plane going home. I'm now officially an old man. I don't know if I hate it or love it. The mission is just one big experience. I can't even describe it.
It was weird to say goodbye to everyone. I shared one of my newfound favorite scriptures from Doctrine and Covenants 78:17-19
It's seriously such a great blessing and scripture. I gave la Hermana Ojeda my art portfolio because I knew she liked my art. She loved it.
17 Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you;
18 And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours.
19 And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more.
It's seriously such a great blessing and scripture. I gave la Hermana Ojeda my art portfolio because I knew she liked my art. She loved it.
Speaking of gifts, I finally gave the Rebolledos my bag of gifts for you guys so I hope everything works out because I've been trying to figure out a way to send it since February. Not a joke. All my letters are probably super out dated already because I wrote it when I had 7 months....
So for now, I hope everyone has a very happy holiday season, and think about the true meaning of Christmas. All the gifts!! ahaha ok jk jk but the gift of Jesus Christ, the son of God who came to the world to save us from spiritual death and physical death. The king of kings, lord of lords, prince of peace. The good shepherd. Our older brother and our Savior. Our perfect example. The light of the world. John 3;16 such a classic. Gotta love it.
16 ¶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This is my last Christmas in Argentina so it's gonna be cool.
