Peruvian Thanksgiving

Ok so happy Thanksgiving!!

We celebrated it as a zone on Thursday but decided to make Peruvian food instead because there are 3 Peruvians in the zone so we wanted to include them into the tradition. Also I think a little because us gringos didn't want to cook the American food so we got the Peruvians to do it. Classic white people. Doing what we do best. Since the first Thanksgiving.

And then later that day we ate with our other Peruvian investigators and it was good. Peruvians eat lots of rice. But it was spicy so I was happy. Argentines don't know what spicy food is. I missed it.

Also this week I had 5 or 6 bloody  noses. And 3 were in less than 24 hours and 1 of them was when I woke up covered in blood. Not a fun experience. Actually kinda scary since it's the first time it's ever happened to me. And one of them was today when I went to try on a shirt in the store and had the shirt half way on when it started in the changing room and I had to run out of there and everyone looked at me. It was terrible. It looks like I've killed someone every time. I don't even know what's up. It's miserable. I think tomorrow I'm gonna check it out. Also because I've been sneezing non stop for the past month. My eyes are always itchy, I don't use contacts anymore.

This week we are preparing to receive Elder Bragg of the Sudamérica sur presidency in the mission. We are gonna have a conf on Monday so I think I'll write on Tuesday fyi. But it's gonna be sick because all of the zones in the north come down. (Trelew north and south and madryn). And all 3 zones here in Comodoro and Caleta are gonna meet up so it's gonna be cool to see Elder Crawford and Ekblad and some of my other friends.

But also President's mad because this month we've only had like 10 baptisms so he's going a little crazy. But it's kinda normal. idk.

So Elder Pacahuala and I talked to Pres. about possibly getting bikes in our area because it's big and he said yes!! So now we will be using bikes and I'm stoked outta my mind. It's been a while. But we don't have them yet so I'll let you know when I get it. You'll get pics and vids FOR SURE.

We are still working with Gabriel, a friend of a member. He's super cool. He wanted to get baptized this week but he didn't attend church so I think he'll get baptized in like 2 or 3 weeks. He's sooo cool and fun. More like a friend than an investigator.

This week I did divisions with Elder Singh and it was fun. Always a good time with Singh. We found a Brazilian that plays basketball and he was like "you know I've always wanted to be Mormon. I told my mom that and she didn't believe me but it's true." He's black and plays basketball so it was kinda cool. He said he wants to go on a mission because he wants to travel hahaha. He knows what up.

But also Elder Spencer and Pacahuala found some cool new investigators for us and I got to teach some of them this week and they are super great!! We got to explain the plan of happiness and about baptisms for the dead (because they asked about it) and they were super interested in it and in family history.

So blessed for the plan of salvation, right? I mean how great is it that God loves us so much that he doesn't want us to get lost so he made a perfect plan to make us happy. And we have the blessing to be able to do the work of salvation here on earth both in temples for the dead and also for the living. And now with ILUMINA EL MUNDO [Light the World] we can do it even more.

So thats pretty much my life now. It's good. I'm happy. But maybe dying ?

Miss you all.
