Wow it's weird having a new comp after so much time together. It's just real different. Not even bad just different. I miss Salinas hahah (Stockholm syndrome??) (Ok that was a joke). But ya I miss him.
So Elder Pacahuala is cool. He talks real fast!! It's making me doubt if I really speak Spanish because I understand like half of what he says... but I think I'll get used to how he talks and it will be fine. That happened with Elder Salinas too. I'm not TOO worried.
I actually don't have a lot to tell this week...
but we've been working a bit with our investigator Gabriel. He's the friend of a member who's preparing to go on a mission. Every time we go to his house we have an asado and Gabriel is super cool!! I think he's our investigator closest to baptism. He attended church yesterday for the first time!! It was good!! I almost had to give a talk but then I actually didn't. This barrio has me insane with the assignments and then cancelling on me. But it's actually not a problem.
We are thinking of ways to conquer a barrio in our area called "Cordon Forestal" which is basically campo with nobody, but we feel we need to go there so we asked a few members for bikes and this week we are gonna put it to the test. I'm actually pretty stoked. I'll let you know what happens next.
But for now I think that's it.
I finished "Our Heritage." It was excellent. I loved it. I high key want to read it again. I feel like the prophets really just are men called of God. Like you can't see their fruits and not say they are a prophet. By their fruits ye shall know them am I right?? That's the coolest thing about the Restoration.
I discovered "go with me" as one of the coolest songs on the ipod. Shout out to Holly or Rachel. For the music. It's keeping me going ahah
