Ok so this week on Thursday marks one year on the mish and honestly I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! I'm so young. I still remember the first thing I said to Elder Ekblad and then I remember celebrating Elder Teixeira's one year and a ton of things in between but it goes by quick!!! And by now, I speak Spanish decent enough to get along and I know enough to be a decent misionero. I would say I know the ropes. (Although what missionary really knows what they're doing??) I hope I can maximize my potential and use this last year to do everything I can. And in one year I'll be back and be a returned missionary at the age of 20 with a whole life ahead of me to party.
But speaking of missions (read the scriptures!!) hahah but you know how you find yourself in a good place and you're all happy and then the missions like "Sike let me change that for you!" That happened on Monday. The zone leaders call us in and tell us that Elder Singh is going to Trelew with another elder and Elder Rojas and I stay together solos again. NOOOO just as things were getting so great in the trio. And we were all so sad because this trio was too good. And Elder Singh is honestly my fave comp hahah ughh it was so short the time we had.
This week we had the conference with President which was a surprise and we traveled Wednesday and stayed the night and I saw Kaden for the 2nd time in one year so that was good. He's still the same great kid as usual. I heard his laugh from a mile away. And his comp. kept going off about how good a kid he is. Everyone thinks he's going to be Assistant. I mean, he's already a zone leader and doesn't have a year yet. He's great though. And this week I was lucky enough to not only see Elder Teixeria but STAY in his pension the night! It was so great! His pension is super fancy. Defs the best pension on the mission.
It rained a ton this week and got really cold again.
In the mission, we are starting to read the Book of Mormon together. Before we read Jesus the Christ to build our faith in Him and now we are reading the book to continue to build faith in him and to gain a personal testimony of it. I'm in 1 nefi ch 18 already and it's just real great. It's been a while since I've read it cover to cover so it's good to read it again.
The Book of Mormon is sick!! I'm learning a lot each time I read and it makes a TON of sense. Like ya the stick of Jose and the stick of Judah. Other sheep which are not of this fold. Another testament of Jesus Christ. It's perfect.
That's all I have time for but things are good (even though Elder Singh left). And I'll probably leave Madryn in 2 weeks so ya.
Love yall
