Ok well a bunch has happened since the last time!!
Today school starts, so adios vacaciones.
On Wednesday afternoon I left to go to Comodoro! It was the first time in like 8 months I've been completely alone. Honestly I never thought it'd be weird to be alone but it was. But for like an hour. Then in Trelew the other elders going to Comodoro got on the bus. We saw the movie with Tom Hanks when he crashes the plane in the Hudson. He's the captain now. haha But it was mas o menos. Then we got to Comodoro in the night and GET THIS!! They take us to a HOTEL! Not even joking! We roll up and I find Kaden and this other kid in my group! We started talking and with all the newbies! It seems like a really good group. Mostly from Uruguay and Brazil and a few from Argentina. I was able to make some good friends so like si o si it was a successful trip. I walked in and they were like "Are you new?" and I'm like "ha you're funny" but then actually I was like "Como?? No entender que usted diga." Alright joke but ya. It's cool to meet other missionaries. Then we were literally served dinner in a fancy room in the hotel and I felt so dirty. Like some other missionaries are sleeping and eating in scary pensions and I'm livin fancy in a HOTEL!! It's wrong. Honestly. Kids these days have it so lucky. My first days were NOT like that. Anyways I saw Elder Nuñez so that was cool. And Elder Rosas. And like all my other friends. I talked to this new girl from Brazil and she was struggling to speak Spanish. She said it's because she went to the MTC in Brazil and didn't speak Spanish at all. It was so weird because literally all the Brazilians I know speak fluently but to hear a Brazilian struggle made me think a bit. I just wasn't aware that there was a learning curve. She's super cool though. And her accent was THICC. She was throwing in portuguese words in there too. I had to talk slower too. That was weird. She's in my old district in Gallegos.
The next day I had a nice breakfast with Kaden with an ocean view and had the conference for the leaders. The assistants taught it. It was cool. Then we had a lunch and I ran into ELDER IXCOT himself! It was a good reunion. I talked with he and Hermana Dewart the whole lunch because they are dying [finishing their missions] in 5 weeks! Good time.
Then after lunch I ran into Elder CRAWFORD!! Yess best time. Real fun. This vacation to Comodoro was too good. Unfortunately I didn't see Elder Lopez or Morales. Oh well.
Then we all got on the bus to go back up. We watched the Sully movie again. #sad And then one called Infinity Polar Bear or something like that. It was weird but we played Uno so I wasn't paying attention really. Then they put on a Disney one about babysitters and later one with Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler but we didn't finish it. We saw a cool sunset. After we stopped in Trelew it was just me and the 2 hermanas. So that was weird to be alone with just girls. It's been un rato since that's happened hahahah.
On Friday we did a service and we cleaned a yard. Good time. When you're serving others you're serving God too.
On Saturday in the morning we woke up and ran on the beach with the hermanas. It was a good time. We saw the sun rise and it was great. I'm defs a sunset guy but I do enjoy beach sunrises.
Yesterday in church this kid showed up so we talked to him, and as we were talking to him the bishop walks by and the kid goes to the bishop "Hey, to be a member do I have to be baptized?" and Elder Rojas and I just look at each other like "WHAT??! What did he just say??" We"ll see how things go.
Today we went to the beach this morning to run. Good times. But the sun was already up. We got there too late...
Sorry I have a bunch of quality pics this week but this freaking computer won't let me!! Ughhhh #3rdworldcountryproblems
The mission is a good time though. Livin life. Learning. Working. Enjoying. Laughing. Jumping. Eating. Sleeping. Cibering. Alright that's enough of gerund writing. I feel like this paragraph could be a hit t-shirt design here.
Also yesterday was my 9th successful testimony meeting si me entienden.
The church was lost but now it's not. Gracias Jose Smith.
