Ok so my time is short but I wanted to tell you guys that we had a baptism on Saturday and it went well. This week we spent a ton of time getting EVERYTHING ready and it was rough. With all the planning and we had to visit her and everything and she lives an hour away so it's like a two hour walk just to teach her but she's great.
This week we have another baptism scheduled so it's gonna be another week "A FULL". But Elder Mendez is great and helps a lot. Honestly he's a great missionary. One of my best comps in terms of just being capable as a missionary.
Gloria is great too but just told us she's not willing to keep the law of chastity so like that happened and so we are gonna pray a lot. Elder Mendez and I call this week "la semana de Fe" because we need a lot of faith this week. hahah
I set myself some pretty good goals this week for the end of my mission and also for the rest of the year when I get back so I've got a good schedule ahead of me.
The weather is so hot here. It's like 40 C and I'm melting.
I think that's it for now.
But I gave my 19th testimony in Sacrament meeting and it was about Presidente Monson. I'm sad he passed away. Just last week we watched his documentary with Evelin and he was just a spiritual giant. Like such a great man. A leader and friend. I want to be like him. I'm glad that God loves us so much he takes ordinary men and prepares them to be leaders and that He talks to prophets so that they can lead us to safety and we can learn and progress. Modern day prophets are so important and I'm grateful for them and feel Gods love for me through them.
