When you literally can't speak English anymore #9months

Ok crazy experience that just happened in the cyber. So like there's a lot of tourists here and there was this lady that was speaking English to the owner but like she doesn't speak English so I was like  "Ugh now I gotta translate for this poor old lady" so I went to help her and like I literally could NOT speak English to her. Like the words weren't coming. I ended up speaking Spanish to her by accident oops. I'm pretty sure what I said to her didn't make sense. And like my Spanish is still basura [trash] but like it's making me lowkey nervous for my English. I tried explaining what malta is to Hermana Grandstaff becuase she didn't understand and I said " It's like coffee but not coffee" and that was literally the best I could do with my English. I guess we should've expected this from an F student in AP english lol.

Ok so as far as investigators. We still have Javier and he's getting closer to baptism. He's a work in progress though. We found him smoking when we were walking down the street so like that's always a big bummer.

We've been planning an activity for this Friday so we'll see how it goes. I'm actually pretty stoked. It reminds me of my ASB days, planning and putting on activities. Defs something I could do for my future.

This week we've been in and out of the hospital. A part member family that is also menos activo [less active] has a lung problem, the exact problem that Elder Rojas had so like we're helping them out and showing support. The best part about being a missionary.

Also another cool thing about the church. We were in the hospital and this real old lady rolls by in her wheelchair and do you know what it said on the back of the chair? Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Wow I've never been so proud. #diezmo en action. The church is super cool like that and that's just one of the physical reminders of it.

Argentine missionary lessons be like :

Me: Anyways The Book of Mormon is THAT evidence of the restauracion [restoration]. You can know for yourself!

Investigator: Ya ya but like explain why I'm seeing evil spirits!

And ya that's about the whole lesson. I wish I was joking but I feel like there are too many lessons that just turn out to be about evil spirits and being possessed. Ughh Argentina is the worst... I'm just tryna explain stuff simply!

Esta semana si fuera una hermana, terminaria la mitad de mi mision! que loco. #9months [This week, if I were a sister missionary, I would be finished with half of my mission!]
