But hey at least I don't have to pack, right? And tbh Gonza and I get along fine, so that's good. But freaking a fourth of the mission in the place leaving ughhh. I was so ready to go. Like I know EVERYONE in the area. We´ll pass by someone's house and I'll be like "oh that's Jonathan and he gave us the finger" or "Mariana lives there but she said no" or I'll run into people I've already contacted in the grocery store and it will be awkard because like I know exactly where they live and they know me...oh well I guess there's a reason I'm staying so now I get the opportunity to find it or dig it out of somewhere. Gotta make this the best last transfer here. Gotta learn something or find someone or help someone. Or all of the above.
Anyways, for the news this week. Hermana Gervasoni is going to train so there's a possibility it's Holly's friend. That'd be cool. Also E. Lopez's new comp is weird. I already met him. But Hna Perez's new comp is from España so you better believe I'm talking to her.
This week we had Elder Teixeira come visit. Actually BOTH: the president of the area 70 and also my Brasilero friend (both last named Teixeira). And the zones from Rio Grande and Ushuaia drove up so that was crazy. We´ve been prepping for like 2 months with choir practices twice a week for 2 hours each practice. I liked the songs though. Don't like singing still though (sorry Mom). The conference was really cool though and Elder Teixeira and his wife spoke some crazy Spanish. Like he was like "todosh losh perthonas". And stuff like that. He gave some cool talks and dropped cane hard! Like put us in our place. Stephen's letter makes me sick. 100 baptisms on 1 day!!! I can't even imagine. Our mission goal is 40 for the transfer. I think we got maybe 20 last time. But the conference was fun and it was like a mini mission reunion so I got to meet a ton of new people (future comps) and see Teixeria and Garcia, and Macdonald, and lots of other friends. Crawford and I had a whole discussion with Galeano so that was honestly the highlight of my week. Crawford and I manaaged to roll off a couple Trump is coming jokes to Ramirez too.
This week was super fun. It was week 6 so everyone was a little dead ya know, and especially Osorio because you know she's leaving, but we were able to have like 4 despedidas all with some good food and fun. It was REAL fun. We even had an asada with the whole zone. Ixcot and I decided that I'm going to Puerto Williams next and then he's gonna transfer there for his last transfer and I'm gonna kill him (be his last companion at the end of his mission). How fun would that be! Also I'm really tryna go to Puerto Williams.
This week we also got Nicolas and Daiana to go to noche de deportes for the first time so that's a big step. They are my faves and we took pictures with them there. (Check out the google drive). Fun fact about them, they won 1st place in the South American tango competition. Or at least I think that's what they won. I don't think I understood correctly. But they have lots of medals and just got back from a competition in Ushuaia, Cordoba, and are going to travel to Rio de Janiero for the next competition.
That's pretty much this week. It was fun. Now I have 6 more weeks. Without Crawford and Osorio. But skype (at Christmas) will be fun, no?
