Nada que ver

Ok so today's a national holiday and everything's closed so I'm writing this in Hermano Velazquez's home on his laptop real quick.

Not much happened that was out of the ordinary this week.. which is good because I don't have a ton to write.

Tonight I'm leaving for Comodoro. I'm stoked! So all the new guys have to go and do paper work so we are legal. I hope I see Ekblad! I don't know though. Anyways, it's gonna be a fun little vacation.

On Thursday it started hailing out of nowhere and it was super random. Like in California when it hails, it's always like freezing and the coldest of cold but here it wasn't even cold.... but then on Saturday it started to rain more and got windy and just shivering cold. But it's mostly perfect weather here. Some days it's over cast and the other days it's lots of fluffy clouds. I love wearing wind breakers and sweaters. Also it's nice not to have to keep my hands in my pockets anymore. It's warm enough where I can walk with my hands free and not have them be cold.

So before the mish I pretty much hated the consistency and texture of flan and dessert like that but oh my gosh I love it so much here. It's my fave dessert. On Thursday we didn't have a lunch set but I called Hermana Leguizamon on Monday and convinced her to let us have lunch of Thursday. All four of us. And then she brought out the biggest flan ever! I cry every time.

Mission life is good. I'm chillin right now. No cares in the world. hah but actually all the cares in the world. This isn't some light work we are doing. We are changing lives and doing the Lord's work.

And btw on Saturday we held a mini ccm and had the kids in the district come. A lot more kids than I thought came. Like as much as our stake or more. It was a good turn out and I they asked me to bear my testimony because I'm the newest missionary in the force. Also I bore my testimony yesterday in church. Not gonna lie I kinda forgot yesterday was fast Sunday. Oops. I was caught kinda off guard.  But now I'm 4/24 which makes me like 1/6 done with my mission right? idk I'm not very good at math and I'm forgetting English and especially math.

Another note: a public thank you to the Merkeleys for their letter to me! Much appreciated! (Also I don't have their email...)
